Doughnuts - Bakery - Breads/Cakes

Recipe:

INGREDIENTS

1/2 Cup shortening

1/2 Cup sugar

2 Teaspoons salt

2 Egg yolks (whip 2 egg whites)

2 Yeast cakes

1 Quart milk

10 Cups flour

DIRECTIONS

Scalt 1 quart milk (cool to lukewarm): add the 2 yeast cakes. Cream together: shortening, sugar, salt, and eggs. Add milk and yeast; add enough flour to make a soft dough (about 10 cups). Let rise 1 hour. Roll thin and cut with doughnut cutter; let rise. Cook in hot oil. Roll in cinnamon and sugar.
